Breathwork

I'm Dr. Jake Wright DO is an Advanced Instructor with the Oxygen Advantage working now as a breathwork coach. An AHPRA accredited Osteopath and DNS practitioner on a mission to make breathwork a normal part of our everyday lives.

Having initated my breathwork journey at 12 with the help of my father who was at the time on a spiritual journey fighting a long battle with cancer, helped shape and mould the passion for helping others change the way they breathe to improve the way the feel, move and perform. I believe in breathwork there is something for everyone, having worked with professionals seeking better stress management or those suffering with anxiety to professional athletes looking to improve performance and everything in between. I know how your breath can impact all areas of our body and mind, which is why I'm so passionate about helping people use breathwork to fulfil their true potential. Having felt the benefits personally, I want to share it with others.

Have you ever wondered if you're breathing correctly? We've never been taught how to breath, right?

Have you ever thought about the potential impact of a movement pattern that happens up to 25,000 times a day whether you think about it and control it or not?

Breathing is a fundamental movement pattern. It can use a number of different muscles to facilitate breathing in a number of different ways. Not all of these are optimal.

By returning to optimal breathing patterns which involves using the nose, correct use of the diaphragm and articulation of our ribs. When we return to how we are supposed and designed to breath it can literally impact every system in your body, as well as everything about you and your life.

It can change your posture, your movement and mobility, reduce pain, release tight muscles, optimise your use of oxygen and the ability to use carbon dioxide to facilitate more efficient gaseos exchange, cardiovascular health and ultimately performance. We can also change the way you feel and manage your stress, as well as improve how you digest your food and optimise your recovery during sleep.

Breathwork is the key to making a change in your life.
