Breathwork

I'm Jake Wright DO, an Advanced Instructor with the Oxygen Advantage, working as a breathwork coach. Trained in osteopathy at RMIT University (Australia), and a DNS practitioner, I'm on a mission to make breathwork a normal part of our everyday lives.
Having initated my breathwork journey at 12 with the help of my father who was at the time on a spiritual journey fighting a long battle with cancer, helped shape and mould the passion for helping others change the way they breathe to improve the way the feel, move and perform. I believe in breathwork there is something for everyone, having worked with professionals seeking better stress management or those suffering with anxiety to professional athletes looking to improve performance and everything in between. I know how your breath can impact all areas of our body and mind, which is why I'm so passionate about helping people use breathwork to fulfil their true potential. Having felt the benefits personally, I want to share it with others.

Have you ever wondered if you're breathing correctly? We've never been taught how to breath, right?

Have you ever thought about the potential impact of a movement pattern that happens up to 25,000 times a day whether you think about it and control it or not?

Breathing is a fundamental movement pattern. It can use a number of different muscles to facilitate breathing in a number of different ways. Not all of these are optimal.

Breathing is a fundamental movement pattern that uses a number of different muscles. Working on breathing patterns, including use of the nose, the diaphragm and movement of the ribs, can influence many aspects of how you feel and move.

Breathing patterns can influence your posture, movement and mobility, how tense your muscles feel, how you use oxygen and carbon dioxide, and potentially how you manage stress, digest food and recover during sleep.
Breathwork can be a helpful tool to support change in your life.
